Fair share scheduling Fair share scheduling in LoadLeveler provides a way to divide compute resources among groups of users. Historic resource usage data (Used Shares) that is collected at the time the job ends is used to decrement job priorities to achieve the proportion of the ressources granted to the groups (Granted Shared). Used Shares will decay over time so that the relatively recent historic resource usage will have the most influence on job priorities. The highest the Priority Increment, the sooner the jobs of the group will start running. Shares: ressources equivalent to node*hours per week (NHW).
